The Media Unit of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) released a press statement yesterday (26) noting that Waruna Rajapaksha alleged that the general secretary of the party, General Secretary Tilvin Silva, made a telephone call two months ago to Charith Abeysinghe, who was arrested yesterday on bribery charges, inviting him to meet the President.
