CID suspects remanded until November 20

Chief Inspector Varuni Bogahawatta and four others were remanded by Matara Magistrate until November 20 after CID investigations into unexplained funds. The investigation follows revelations of a Rs. 1 billion misappropriation from the Matara Cooperative Society.
