President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that cabinet approval has been granted to recruit nearly 62,000 people for state jobs. Speaking at the National Youth Conference at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo, Dissanayake said the government would not recruit in bulk as previous administrations had done."We won't do recruitment by the bulk - 100,000 to 150,000 like previous governments.
