Suspect In Drug Network Arrested, Drugs Seized
Police arrested a 40-year-old woman in Wellampitiya, reportedly linked to Dubai-based 'Dubai Dhanushka'. Authorities seized over 1 kg of methamphetamine ('Ice') and handed her over for further investigation.

The arrested suspect is a 40-year-old resident of the Pansal Hena Road area in Wellampitiya, police said. Further questioning has revealed that the suspect was the principal agent responsible for storing and distributing drug consignments belonging to 'Subha', a woman who allegedly manages the drug distribution network within Sri Lanka from Dubai.
