Ex-Agriculture Minister granted bail
Former Agriculture Minister Duminda Dissanayake was granted bail by the Colombo High Court, subject to strict conditions. The court ordered a cash bail of Rs. 250,000 and two surety bails of Rs. 5 million each. He was arrested in May for connection with a gold-plated T-56 rifle found at an apartment complex.
