Gov Removes Rs 65 Levy on Raw, Parboiled Rice
The Sri Lankan government has lifted a Rs. 65 per kg import levy on raw and parboiled rice, effective today. This decision was made under Section 2 of the Special Commodity Levy Act and applies to specific HS codes covering these two types of rice.
