The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for strong winds and rough seas, effective until 03.00 pm tomorrow (10 June). The advisory has been issued for the sea areas off the coast extending from Chilaw to Kankesanthurai via Puttalam and Mannar, and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
