Minister Gamage vows to restore Sri Lanka’s cricket glory
Minister of Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage said cricket will be developed with the aim of securing a World Cup victory.

As part of this process, the Sports Minister today (4) handed over letters of appointment to four additional members of the Cricket Transformation Committee. Clarifying the purpose of the committee, the minister stressed that its role extends beyond overseeing elections. He said the committee has been mandated to carry out broader structural reforms to rebuild a cricket system that has declined over time.
