Committee Proposal for Black July Studied
A proposal to form a Parliamentary Select Committee to study the 1983 Black July event and its effects was scheduled to be presented in Parliament today. The meeting is part of ongoing sessions until November 6, also including an adjournment debate on Middle East conflict impacts.

Accordingly, the motion to appoint a Parliamentary Select Committee to conduct a full study and report on the tragic Black July event of 1983 and its impact, and to submit its proposals and recommendations to Parliament regarding providing relief to affected persons, will be presented today for approval.
