Injured elephant receives fourth vet treatment
A wild elephant with a gunshot wound in Seeppukulama has been treated four times. Wildlife officials, including Veterinarian Udeshika Madhuwanthi, are monitoring its condition continuously.

The Department of Wildlife Conservation said the latest treatment was carried out on Thursday (05). Wildlife Veterinarian Udeshika Madhuwanthi, attached to the Pandulagama Veterinary Unit, is among the officers keeping the animal under close observation, the department said.
