Sri Lankan diplomat receives Russia's highest civilian honour
Dr. Saman Weerasinghe was awarded Russia's highest civilian honour, the Order of Friendship, by President Putin at the Kremlin. The accolade recognises his decades-long efforts to strengthen cultural and diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and Russia.
