Parliament Reviews Measures on Prison Overcrowding
The Sectoral Oversight Committee reviewed measures like legal reforms and rehabilitating drug addicts to ease prison overcrowding. Proposals included amendments to the Prisons Ordinance, conditional release mechanisms and expedited reports.
