A tour guide was trampled to death by a temple tusker at Kande Viharaya in Aluthgama this afternoon.

A 34-year-old tourist guide has been killed in an elephant attack at the Kande Vihara Temple in Aluthgama around noon today (26). He sustained injuries in the attack and was subsequently taken to the Balapitiya Base Hospital. The deceased's body has been placed at the Balapitiya Base Hospital.
