He said Sri Lankan citizens holding valid driving licences issued in Sri Lanka can legally drive vehicles during visits to the country without obtaining additional permits. The Minister also explained that Sri Lankans who surrendered their local driving licences to foreign authorities when obtaining licences in those countries can apply for a Sri Lankan driving licence by submitting the relevant documents.
