Sri Lankans protested outside British Parliament calling for repeal of anti-terrorism laws. Organized by local movements, the demonstration involved various communities and opposed new and existing Sri Lankan legislation.

The protesters called for the abolition of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) and voiced opposition to the proposed Protection of the State from Terrorism Act (PSTA) and Prevention of Organised Crimes Act (POCA). They characterised the proposed measures as oppressive, arguing that the legislation could undermine fundamental rights, civil liberties and democratic freedoms in Sri Lanka.
