Heat advisory issued for several areas
The Meteorology Department has issued a Warm Weather Advisory for the North-Central and Eastern provinces, and the Monaragala and Hambantota districts.

The department states that the Heat index, the temperature felt on the human body, is likely to increase up to 'Caution level' at some places in the districts. The public has been warned that fatigue is possible with prolonged exposure and activity, and that continuing activity could result in heat cramps.
