- A suspect was arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake by officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau with a stock of hashish valued at Rs. 47.78 million.The suspect is a 24-year-old sales assistant residing in Grandpass, Colombo.The suspect had arrived at BIA from Bangkok, Thailand.Police recovered 4 kilograms and 778 grams of hashish inside 15 packages concealed as chocolates in his luggage.The suspect will be produced before the Negombo Magistrate's Court.
