The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) and the Government Dental Surgeons' Association have announced their decision to oppose the proposed 22nd Amendment to the Constitution. Representatives of both associations said they had reached consensus to act jointly against the proposal together with other professional organizations, including the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL).
