Police tighten enforcement on Colombo bus priority lanes
Police are set to strictly enforce regulations governing bus priority lanes in Colombo and surrounding areas from September 29, as part

ASP Manoj Ranagala of the Police Traffic Control and Road Safety Division said the designated bus lanes operate from 6 a.m. During these designated hours, other vehicles are prohibited from entering or parking in the bus priority lanes. Ranagala clarified that the priority lanes are available to all passenger transport buses, not only Metro buses.
