New Gazette Issued: MRP Set For Canned Fish

The Consumer Affairs Authority has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification setting a maximum retail price for canned fish.Accordingly, the Maximum Retail Price of a 155g of can of Fish is 165 Rupees.425g of can of Fish to be sold for 380 Rupees.The Gazette notification stated that the Maximum Retail Price for a can of Mackerel of 155g is 210 Rupees. A can of Mackerel of 425g is to be sold at 480 Rupees.The price of a can of Mackerel with a net weight of 155g is 240 Rupees.According to the Gazette notification a can of Jack Mackerel with a net weight of 425g must be sold for 560 Rupees.
