Government plans new CPC filling stations to ease fuel supply disruptions
Energy Minister Anura Karunathilaka said the Government was taking steps to establish additional filling stations operated by the Ceylon

The Minister said private fuel suppliers had reduced the quantities of fuel released to the market, citing difficulties in absorbing losses. As a result, they limited fuel supplies to the market to some extent. "We hope to establish new filling stations in the future to minimise the difficulties faced by fuel consumers during a crisis of this nature," he said.
