A young man who was injured in a shooting that occurred around 2.45 AM today in the Gohagoda area of Katugastota has been admitted to the Kandy National Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the Police Media Division confirms that a shooting also occurred yesterday (03) inside the Galle Prison. It is reported that one inmate sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
