Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has convened a meeting of party leaders to discuss measures to address the severe disaster situation Sri Lanka is currently facing following the recent cyclone.
United National Party Chairman Vajira Abeywardena stated that based on the successful experience gained under the leadership of Mr. The Chairman also pointed out that the former President is expected to brief party leaders on the successful programs implemented during the flood disasters in 2003 and 2016, and in the post-flood periods.
