(JKCG) has rejected allegations that it had prior knowledge of the temporary surcharge imposed on imported motor vehicles before the government's recent Gazette notification. However, JKCG categorically denied the allegations, stating that it had no prior knowledge of the surcharge and had not established any Letters of Credit for BYD vehicles on the day before the Gazette notification.
