Udayanga Hemapala, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Moratuwa, has been appointed to formulate a National Policy for Engineering Education in Sri Lanka. The committee was appointed by Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Nalaka Kaluwewa, on the instructions of the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr.
