3 Students Injured as Wall Collapses

One of the students injured in the wall‐collapse incident near Kannangara Vidyalaya in Borella has been admitted to the Emergency Treatment Unit of the National Hospital in Colombo, police said.According to police, the other two students injured in the accident are currently receiving treatment in general wards.The incident occurred when a boundary wall on a property belonging to the Borella Municipal Council collapsed after being struck by a backhoe machine operating within the premises.Police confirmed that the driver of the backhoe has been taken into custody in connection with the accident.Investigations are ongoing.

Three 16-year-old students have sustained injuries when a boundary wall separating the C. The falling debris trapped three students who were in the vicinity at the time, police stated. The Borella Police are conducting further investigations.
