Yesterday (April 27) evening, three people were seriously injured in a severe accident at the railway crossing near the Piyamaga sawmill in Kosgoda. The accident occurred around 4:30 PM when a car collided with a train traveling from Beliatta to Colo
Among those admitted to Balapitiya Base Hospital after the accident were Mr. Kasun Dhanushka de Silva, 38, a resident of Welithara, Balapitiya, who was driving the car, his 11-year-old son, and Mrs. Pushpa Premalatha de Silva, 59, a resident of Mahapitiya, Kosgoda.
