President says further tax reductions planned in upcoming Budget

Commenting on the country's economic performance, the President said the Government had met its revenue targets without introducing any new taxes since assuming office."We have not imposed any new taxes since coming to power. We will reduce certain taxes further in the upcoming Budget," he said. He emphasised that the planned tax cuts would be carried out without undermining the Government's revenue targets.
