In the letter titled "The Threat to Sri Lanka's Rooftop Solar Energy Sector," the Chamber has drawn the President's attention to two critical policy issues which it says could place Sri Lanka's national energy security and economic recovery at risk. According to the Chamber, the existing rooftop solar power and battery energy storage sector contributes around 2,600 MW of capacity to the national electricity grid.
