A teacher, who was taken into custody in connection with the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old student, has been remanded.
Moratuwa Police officers arrested a teacher from a well-known school in the Moratuwa yesterday (17), following a complaint that a school student was sexually abused. The complaint states that the teacher abused a 14-year-old student. The arrested teacher is a 59-year-old man from the Baduraliya area, who was in charge of school transport supervision.
