The Central Crime Investigation Division (CCIB) has arrested a Chinese national in Colombo on charges of extorting money from investors at the Colombo Port City.
Information about an alleged extortion network targeting investors in the country has been revealed following the arrest in Colombo of a 39-year-old individual who was in possession of five mobile phones, 42 SIM cards, and four passports suspected to have been issued by several countries, including China.
