Former Minister CB Rathnayake, who was arrested earlier today by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, has been remanded, Ada Derana reporter said.
The arrest was made in connection with an ongoing investigation conducted by the Assets Investigation Division. The probe relates to activities during Ratnayake's tenure in three key ministries: the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Livestock Development.
