A 13-year-old boy has died in a firework accident during an annual religious festival held at a temple in the Batticaloa, Valachchenai area. yesterday (11) when the accident occurred. The injured boy was immediately admitted to the Valachchenai Hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
