At the Rajanganaya Reservoir, six spill gates are currently open, discharging water into the Kala Oya at a rate of 7,130 cubic feet per second. Similarly, authorities opened spill gate number three at the Moragahakanda Reservoir last night as water levels reached a critical point. This is releasing approximately 1,500 cubic feet of water per second into the Amban Ganga.
