Summary
Provincial Education Director Nihal Alahakoon said a school principal is under investigation for distributing the papers early, in violation of instructions to hold exams only for Grades 10 and 11. Due to Cyclone Ditwah, schools were advised to distribute papers for Grades 6 to 9 for discussion only, the report said. He called for a full investigation into how the papers were accessed.
