President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has confirmed the appointment of two new Deputy Governors to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). Amarasekara was set to assume his duties as a Deputy Governor from October 24, 2025. Sirikumara will become a Deputy Governor with effect from November 03, 2025.
