Colombo–Kandy Traffic Restored

The Road Development Authority (RDA) announced that the Colombo-Kandy Road section between Ganethenna and Kadugannawa will be fully reopened from today. (8th)Director General Wimal Kandambi said the road was opened to traffic at 7 a.m. this morning.He added that 219 of the 256 main roads damaged by the recent disaster have now been reopened for vehicular movement.
