President instructs establishment of an Office of the Commissioner General of Essential Services

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has instructed the establishment of an "Office of the Commissioner General of Essential Services", centred at the Prime Minister's Office, under the leadership of the Director General of Essential Services, to coordinate the necessary measures to restore normalcy to the lives of people affected by the disaster situation.
