One hundred and twenty foreign nationals arrested in the Rajagiriya Meda Welikada Road area have been remanded until Wednesday (6) by court order.The individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of violating immigration and emigration laws and for alleged involvement in cyber-related crimes.According to police, the arrests were made during a raid carried out yesterday by the Welikada Police, acting on information received by authorities.Those arrested include nationals of nine countries, among them China, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.Police investigations into the incident are continuing in connection with the suspected immigration violations and cybercrime activities.
