Under its influence, showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, Central and Uva provinces. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the other areas of the island after 1.00 pm. The sea areas off the coast extending from Kalutara to Trincomalee via Puttalam and Kankasanthurai will be fairly rough at times.
