The victim was attacked with a sharp weapon and succumbed to a cut throat. At the police station, two Sri Lankan workers who were working with the victim, Tharindu Shanaka, and were present at the time of the incident, were being questioned. When the witness returned to the room and came back with other Sri Lankans, Tharindu Shanaka was found with his throat cut.
