Sri Lanka received a significant boost to its disaster relief efforts early this morning when the first humanitarian flight from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) landed at Katunayake International Airport. The supplies were transported aboard a C-17 Globemaster, the world's largest military cargo aircraft operated by the UAE Air Force.
