A decision has been taken to paper marking activities before the conclusion of the 2025 General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A'L) examination, the Department of Examinations has stated.
The 2025 A/L exam is being held at 2,362 examination centers across the country. A total of 340,525 candidates are scheduled to sit for the exam, including 246,521 school candidates and 94,004 private candidates. The Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage stated:"The examination began at the scheduled time today.
