Dilith's Writ Application Scheduled for Sept. 14

The Court of Appeal today fixed September 14 to hear a writ petition filed by Member of Parliament Dilith Jayaweera, challenging a complaint that had been referred to the Court of Appeal by the Fort Magistrate after concluding that remarks he made during a television programme prima facie amounted to contempt of court.
