In the Women's Final, Japan got the better of the Chinese outfit, taking a 5-0 lead at Half Time through a try from Chiaki Saegusa. The Sri Lanka Women's Team was unfortunate to miss out on the 9th place Final after falling to Malaysia in a close tussle, losing 24 - 19 in the 9th place Semi Final.
