At least 26 people were injured in a collision between a bus and a tipper truck on the Colombo-Batticaloa main road in the Minneriya and Batu Oya area early this morning (12), police said. The injured were admitted to hospitals in Polonnaruwa, Minneriya, and Higurakgoda, with several reported to be in critical condition, hospital sources said. Minneriya Police are conducting further investigations.
