The Committee on Public Finance (CoPF) met today (08) at the Parliament complex at around 3:00 p.m. under the chairmanship of its Chairman, Parliamentarian Dr. Harsha de Silva.
During the session, members discussed reports submitted by the Secretary to the Treasury regarding a payment of US$ 2.5 million made by the Treasury to a third party. The Committee had previously requested a report from the Treasury concerning the transfer of US$ 2.5 million to a third party.
