The International Monetary Fund has fixed today,27 May 2026, for its Executive Board to decide on the Fifth and Sixth reviews of Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme. If the Board approves both reviews, Sri Lanka will become eligible to draw the sixth and seventh tranches under the IMF arrangement.
