Former Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) Admiral (Retired) Nishantha Ulugetenne has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Summary
Based on the investigations, the CID had arrested the suspect yesterday and produced him before the Kandy Magistrate's Court. Interrogations of the suspect had revealed that the man had pretended to be an underworld figure and had threatened former minister Alles and SDIG Pathinayake at the request of former SDIG Priyantha Jayakody.
